From 10am a Full English breakfast and a wide selection of sandwiches, baguettes, Panini's and salads are available. All our food is prepared fresh on the premises. Why not try one of our baked Camembert served with rock salt and rosemary bread or take a look at our daily specials board. If you would prefer to be outside you can always relax on the patio with one of our famous cream tea's. There's just too much to list so why not take a look at our MENU page.
We provide a picnic service and cater for groups.
On colder days we have comfy leather sofas with Welsh blankets, Hot Chocolate with Marsh mallows and Whipped Cream and an endless supply of glossy mags and novels to relax with.
Vegetarians have there own menu to choose from. How about trying a Carrot, Corn & Chickpea Burger, Laver Bread Burger or Vegetarian Lasagne. There's always plenty to choose from.
We sell fantastic coffee and a wide selection of tea's including fruit and herbal.
In the evening The Bistro is open from 7pm where you will find fresh locally sourced fish including Flounder, Bass and Mackerel. Or why not try a Welsh Black sirloin steak. Most of our vegetables and salads are sourced from our own cottage garden or local farms. Some of these produce are available to buy at the Bistro daily. A great way to finish off your meal is with our home made Blackberry & Apple Crumble, famous Sticky Toffee Pudding or a Welsh Cheese Board.
The Bistro is fully licensed serving a range of great organic wines, local beers and spirits. It is advisable to book as The Bay is a very popular venue.
The Bay is open every day during the summer months from 10am to 5.30pm then re-opens at 7pm for evening meals. Off season The Bay is open every weekend but can still be booked for functions and parties at any time.
On Christmas day we serve a breakfast of Champagne, Scrambled Eggs & Smoked Salmon. This is proving to be a popular Christmas morning event so book up to join us!
The Bay also sells a range of beautiful gifts, including locally hand made soaps, shell hearts and gifts for the children.
All major credit cards are accepted and there is good disabled access throughout.
Next to the Bistro Sam and Tim run a surf-hire and Surf school, where visitors can learn to surf or hire surf boards, wetsuits and buy accessories. Sams Surf Shack also stocks gifts and beautiful hand made jewellery.
Rhossili stands at the western end of the Gower Peninsula and has a fantastic 3 mile stretch of unspoilt beach and many beautiful secluded coves. It is very popular with walkers, bird watchers, surfers and hang gliders. During the Summer months Fly West Wales (paragliding school)run by Rob Mansley can be found chilling out at The Bay Bistro.

Lunch Menu
A wide variety of food is served all day including our vegetarian and Gluten Free range . If you just fancy a snack; then we have olives, a range of rustic breads, hummus, pâté or a whole baked camembert served with rock salt and rosemary bread. We always have a specials board offering chili, lasagne, soup etc. Satisfied your appetite? Then wash it down with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, peppery Merlot or locally brewed Welsh beer.
Evening Bistro
Step into the Bistro for a relaxed atmosphere, serving a range of meals including: fresh fish delivered directly from Swansea’s fish market and Welsh Black sirloin steak. All our meals are served with locally sourced salad and vegetables, some straight out of our own cottage garden. A Light Brulée, Welsh cheese board or a good home-made sticky- toffee pudding are a few of our dessert choices.
We can cater for any event, group bookings and coaches are welcome.
Catering
If your self-catering we offer home-made chili con carne Lasagne, fish pie , a range of vegetarian food, cakes and puddings, sticky toffee pudding, fruit crumbles and fruit pies are just as few of our options. All the meals shown are made to order in servings of your choice either in bulk and or set meals. You can always bring your own dishes and we would cook in those. All to help ease your stay!
