Come to The Bay Bistro for food at its best

Here at The Bay we endeavour to serve good home-made fresh food.

Local produce is used as much as possible. Our vegetables and some of the salad is either from our own cottage garden or local farms. Sam and Tim created a great herb garden at the back of the Bay so we were able to pick the herbs fresh when we need them. A winner on the menu this year has been roasted beetroot and carrots dug up in the morning and on your plate in the evening. You can't get better than that!

We use an Aga for all our cooking, you can't beat an Aga baked Jacket Potato or roasted mediterranean vegetables.

All of our staff are encouraged to be creative in the kitchen, so James has been on the home made gluten free sticky toffee pudding (the reviews of this have been overwhelming!) whilst Rachel was busy keeping up with the demands of her all butter shortbread, Jan has been making some wonderful fruit crumbles and pies for us. No one makes pastry like our Jan. Lee makes the best Hummus with a secret ingredient!! Sally? well she has been just amazing with her food creations. Buna Gosht, Steak and Ale Pie, Chicken & Asparagus Pie and a big seller in the evening, pan fried chorizo with scallops and fresh greens.

As the seasons change so does the menu at The Bay.

In the winter we make warming soups, stews and cawl. Summer brings fresh salads and fish.

Here at The Bay we are proud to say that we do not sell fast or processed food.
